@stan_boyd @screaamshield Yes, they are always right you communist. That's how the free market system works. The industry makes what I want, and I pay for it.

Not having a flashlight on a weapon is realism design flaw. If I'm going to run around a Mars station as a Space Marine, hunting demons and shit, I'm also definitely going to have a tactical flashlight on my rifle. Its no different than if I was a US Marine running around Kabul shooting Taliban at night; I would have a tac-light. It wouldn't even be a personal choice, I would be REQUIRED to have one. As for the artistic nature of video games, no one is making this 'art' to display in a museum. Its going to store shelves pronto. If I'm going to pay $60 for a game that made made outstanding promises in entertainment value all year long, it better deliver an outstanding ending too. Or if I'm going to pay for the re-release of a game (which I'm not saying I am), it better have a flashlight on the guns, because that's what should have happened in the first place.

I hate EA as well. They've bought up every gaming company they could and are now nickel-and-diming the shit out of all their customers. They're an evil and greedy publishing company who has possession of a lot of my favorite game titles. The problem is that because they have control of so many popular titles (PC or console) that they can push the nickel-and-diming envelope to a high degree with no real consequence. But sooner or later EA's methods of treating customers is going to lead those customers to stop buying their products or procure them some other way.

How awesome is it that we can censor out the postings we don't like just by thumbing down their comments enough? Sparticus1013 seems to be in the lead with most posts not meeting the display criteria.

Agreed, the ending was bad. Not to mention EA and BioWare are about as artistic as Haliburton. There's a big difference between 'Art' and 'Entertainment,' and their goal is to make money. Look at all the crap that follows a release of a ME game; DLC, novels, comics, etc. The the relationship which the article speaks of is between the industry and the consumer. And when its my money that keeps their money grubbing corporation afloat, I want to be impressed with the ending of one of my favorite games. Seriously, how could they end ME3 they way they did when so much effort was made to develop the relationships between characters? And with Dragon Age 3 coming up, why should I buy it if I suspect the same quality of work? So, yes, EA and BioWare should be paying attention to what is being said.
