@7tizz: I agree with you on the possible alienating the current Wii U owners but those coveted games you have that are wanted by us who aren't Wii U owners are possible system movers and when the systems move off the shelves come the guaranteed third party support

There's no way that it wasn't going to support Xbox 360 backwards compatibility. This was set in stone as soon they figured what kind of mid gen system they were going to do

This move was worse than the NCAA football games coming out 28 days before the new Madden every year lol. Truthfully though I like titanfall 2 and I'll get bf1 on Friday with the sale at Target this week with the buy 2 get 1 free sale but I don't know what other games I will get with it, I'm so undecided ?

I don't know what Nintendo is going to do but it might be a wise move to launch with switch versions of the top rated Wii U games because the Wii U didn't sell well. Some like myself couldn't fathom spending 300/350 bucks on the Wii U but...... The switch on the other hand seems more appealing from the early reveals and the thought of taking this with you etc might entice those of us who weren't really moved by the Wii U. If the price and specs are on par from the rumor mill with a few good ports from the Wii U and some great 3rd party games that I would love playing on the go then Nintendo might get my hard earned cash. Time will tell to make or break my purchase

Looks interesting. Show me more and if it's what I want I will buy day one. I never had a handheld Nintendo only a vita and a Psp but this might be worth it if the games I want play are on it. Time will tell. Video games for life

Of course they won't abandon the Wii u yet and that new Zelda will be Wii u exclusive only because if you read between the lines they are making a completely new Zelda launch game for the nx that's a continuation from the Wii u version and they will discount the price on the Wii u to 150 bucks so those who don't own it will run to purchase it to play both versions. Soon after they will cease Wii u support lol
