looks very cool and seems to be a potential for co-op which would be different in an action-fantasy rpg. will be keeping on eye on this.

looks like tribes, but with no blood and no vehicles. someone mentioned that there are creation tools that come with it though? Is that true - if so, may be worth a try.

I think its a stretch to say that it is an imitation of either of those games. They definitely share some features, but it seems like the game is going to play a little differently then GoW and Soul Reaver. Soul Reaver had no inventory management, no side quests, and the combat did not have as much depth as this game will have. The combat has more in common with GoW, but the main difference between GoW and Darksiders is the inventory management system and the idea of side quests. I think when this game releases people are going to realize that this is not a GoW carbon copy, but a mix of what we love from a couple different genres (GoW, Zelda, Diablo loot management).

@BryanParks - how can you say "its all about COD now." Whats all about COD? Yea, there are a lot of people who play Call of Duty, but you're completely dismissing all other first person shooters in the world except for Call of Duty? Don't get me wrong, COD is a great game, but you would be very narrow minded to say that "its all about COD now." I respect your opinion that you did not like CS, not everyone does, but you can't say that COD is the only good shooter these days.

@Danny You got everything spot on. I stumbled upon planethalflife and I was amazed that these games were free online multiplayer shooters. Started in some beta version and through to source. "Running faster with a knife" made me laugh out loud. The community was great and it was interesting that there were so many clan supported servers where members were admins of the server. It was a great built in feature because I remember people requesting maps so the admin would change it. Great game. @Megamoss, I also preferred Day of Defeat. That was an awesome mod. I just loved the way the game played and the WW2 theme.
