I'm sorry that you're misinformed...you can put any 5400rpm sata laptop hdd into the 360 :)

While it's possible to do that it's not recommended and it's not approved by MS. You are taking a big chance that they will at the very least void your warranty. Something you need with X360.

It will void the warranty....on your HDD...which isn't really needed since you're putting a new one in it in the first place. As far as the rest of the system, warranty's still good.

I seriously doubt that... Third party accessories or your own MODs are not accepted by MS period. You are saying if I MOD an Xbox with a faster DVD drive that would mean only my DVD drive isn't covered under warranty? Sorry but that's not the case. Also the last thing you want is Microsoft to cancel your X-Box Live account. No hacks of any kind allowed on XBox Live.

It's okay to mention it's possible, but acting like it's 100% legit is just going to get people in trouble.

The only problem with that kind of thinking is that the DVD drive is inside the system and the HDD attaches to the outside. When i had to send my 360 in they specifically told me not to send my HDD. So as far as system repairs there's no cause for concern.

what like jury rigging the wifi..360 owns..lol

who said anything about wifi?...you can put a hdd in a 360 and a PS3...so now you just change the subject?

/thread

you cant connect a regular hard drive without a hack job same as wifi.

No you can...you remove the hdd from the 360...you take the hdd out of the case it comes in...you buy a new harddrive...you insert that hdd into the hdd case...and attach it to the 360...if that's rigging then you don't know what the word means. any more questions?

[QUOTE="stereointegrity"][QUOTE="pminooei"]isn't intel building a 16 core CPU lol? i guess intel is first palce agianc02z

uh amd is currently in the top spot...until wt get a 16 core they arent in first

AMD is still a step behind Intel, those AMD Phenom Quad core CPU's are JUNK

AMD have the only true quad cores. Intel's are basically two dual cores glued together. :o

Doesn't matter. The reality is that AMD gave intel a good run in the early 2000's, but no longer. Intel re-established itself with Centrino, then Core Duo and never looked back.

AMD is barely hanging on again.

agreed, its all about performance. intel currently beat amd.

Just like Intel has always beaten AMD...it will never change...history never repeats itself...

and it still outperforms the Phenoms by a LONGSHOT

I'm sorry, I thought we were talking about the number of cores, not performance.
