I agree. Building your own is the way to go.. I built most of my machines.. cept this last one.. boy.. big mistake lol

Edit: Well to get a pre-built that usually means your limiting yourself on what PSU or case they send you... unless its like a prebuilt from newegg.. then really only the PSU needs to be checked out.. as the cases you can generally buy yourself anyway.

Thanks all for the responses! And yeah i noticed that my gfx settings were defaulted to ultra so i tonned those down abit hehe. temps now are in the mid-70s range during gaming :)

buut i did have to replace one of the 9800GTs.. red dashes all over my screen at boot and some oddball artifacts at win logon screen.. oh well.. it was the secondary card so no major loss lol

So i have a 9800GT and i ran HWmonitor during my last match... temps rose to 81C sometime during the game. I never crashed but i did have some stutter during the match. I have the fan speed set to 70% at all times and it keeps the card near 58C idle.. is it just me or does my card run hot all the time? I play wow and the temps never break 70C. Granted wow isnt as graphics intensive as SC2.

I will be lowering my setting in SC2 to see if that helps the temps at all.. tho i doubt it.
