I am thinking of selling my 360, because all i have is Halos and Splinter Cell. I was hoping someone could tell me some good exclusives to try. I played the Fables and Gears of War too btw.

I have the Logitech and it is great. The force feedback is pretty accurate. The gear shift is only up and down on mine but it is still fine.

I hear where you are coming from as far as the leap that PS1 made for gaming but in my honest opinion I was a N64 fan. I didn't play any great Sony titles until PS2. To me PS2 was the best console of all time due to the amount of great games at those great prices they had at the time. Why do you think Xbox made the 360 so quick(Besides Pirating as well).

Now to talk about this Gen of PS3. I believe the game variety is just a tad behind PS2 but it is still a great line up. Games like Uncharted, God of War, Metal Gear, Little Big Planet, Gran Tursimo 5, Killzone, Several great Multiplats, and (I agree with person above) MAG revolutionary. The problem that I see here is that I think reviews and sites like gamespot has ruined it for gamers just a little. The reason being is that when you went to buy a game it was based on your opinion and the opinion of friends that had similar tastes in games as you. Therefore when you found a game that you really liked and shared it with someone that person did not come in with idea about the game already because they read a review of the game.

I am not saying that reviews are all bad, but it has made some gamers lose that surprise factor they once had when they found a hidden gem.

[QUOTE="2Chalupas"]

Damn. I didn't notice there is no premium RUF in the game, just a handful of standard models. I'm assuming that's what you meant as technically I don't think there has EVER been a licensed "Porsche" in the Gran Turismo games. But there have been RUF cars which were based on Porsche chassis. Technically not a "Porsche" though. IF you didn't know that I guess you are new to the series. Still, no premium models of any RUF SUCKS because those were some of my favorite cars to drive in past GT games and i was looking forward to the interior view on those.

Anyway that is indeed another head scratcher with some of the cars that ARE premium. But the high points of the game still outweigh all these nagging issues. I won't be done with this game for a LOOONNNG time and there are at least a good number of unique cars to drive. It's just too bad there are all these glaring holes on a game that took 5 years. Some of these are just like absolute "WTF" head scratchers for the Gran Turismo series. I hope they didn't intentionally gimp the roster of premium cars with plans on offering tons of DLC. If they start cranking small packs of premium cars as overpriced DLC I will be extremely disappointed. If months from now they offer some huge pack of like 100 more cars for $10 than I would be quite pleased indeed.

. I did not know that about the Porsche fiasco, it's been years and years since I played a GT title. I was coming over from (disclaimer: I intended this thread as a discussion about GT 5 only, not a flame war or comparison thread for Forza, so let's not go there) Forza 3 where Porsche is fully represented. They are also in Need For Speed and every other racer I've ever played Why aren't they in GT? Liscensing issues? Seems odd, because making a racing game without the Panamera or 911 Turbo *drools a little* is a crime against car lovers.

I am not sure but I think Lamborghini and Porschehave something where if one is in the game then the other can not... Kinda of like how restaurants either carry Coke or Pepsi products... I could be wrong though.

No you have to earn the right to call plays... That is how it was suppose to be but they did not have it working right until the patch.

There is two different ranked matches... on is for the team ranked matches and the other is for individual ranked matches. I advise you to pay close attention to the option you are selecting.

Sure you can just make up something like your brother has a ps3 or I do not have any games to support it. They should take it back no problem.
