There will be even more price drops by the time Christmas comes around, the parts you pick up now will cost quite a bit lower then.

But for now, its a rather ok deal. Though I have a few suggestions:

Mobo: Change to this instead - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138123
The Asus P5Q has alot of stability problems, poor support from many type of RAM and is just rather crappy when it comes to OCing.

RAM: Change the Corsair XMS2 to this G.Skill instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231122
Better OCing capabilities, cheaper. nuff' said.

HDD: Get the Western Digital 640GB Caviar SE16 instead: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136218
$5 cheaper and it is actually still faster than the Seagate.

SSJBen

Yeah I'm not picking anything up until December prob I'm just planning. The WD HDD looks good but it has a 16mb cache as opposed to the Seagate's 32mb. Is there any big difference?

Thats very nice build for sure but do you realyl want to get Q6600 now ?? Its great CPU and very popular and im not going to argue about this point but if you are building new setup then I'd probably go with Q9450 or Q9300 if you cant afford the extra 100$.

As for GPU, I would go 1 GPU solution but the price is really nice for this GX2.. So I cant help you with that but if you want something else, maybe from ATI then 4870 should be your first considerSearchMaster

Thanks! So do you think a 9300 and a Nvidia 260 sounds good? Or do you think its worth the money for the Q9450? Is the 4870 better than the 260 and the 9800GX2?

I will never understand why people smoke. It's unhealthy, it leaves a terrible smell, it's costly to be buying them all the time and according to all these people who do, it's not even pleasant.ithilgore2006

Gears is by far the best online game on the 360 (that's not saying much though). I can't wait for Gears 2,shame it comes out alongside Left 4 Dead. I won't be getting any sleep. :(

stepat201

What ???

It's most probably the best out of the 3 at online games.

it's not when you have MGO!

Huh? I didn't understand either of you posts? What I mean in the brackets is that Halo 3 is ****,but Gears is awesome.

And @ the guy above me,MGO is also ****.

@ the guy above me halo 3>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>all.

Oh sweet I had no idea! Let me go dust it off and play it all night! Oh wait it sucks...

Opinions is a fun game eh?

except i have things to back mine up with ;)

So do I. I don't like the game.

Haha good point

I was just looking around for some good sites where you can customize a comp and they will build it for you like an ibuypower or similar site. Are some more reliable than others? Please tell me your experience or whatever with these sites and reccomend one.

Thanks in advance,

badgert

K thanks I looked on MS's website and my router isn't Live certified but apparently this doesn't matter if you switch around some settings.
