"Disagree with you there.... Newegg has always delivered my stuff fast and on time with excellent packaging. I've ordered over 30 parts from them in the last 2 years." - TheDuffman26

Most of the time Newegg does a good job but there has been times when they do mess up.

Davyvfr

Name a company that doesn't mess up? That wouldn't be consider a negative if all companys do that. It happens. It's really not considered a negative in my world. $**T happens

I use Home Basic, although I didn't read beforehand that it doesn't come with a DVD codec - if I'd noticed, I would have spent the extra $20 on Home Premium. I think 64-bit is preferable to 32-bit - the 64-bit Vista installs 32-bit programs just fine, in my experience.ajkalan

It is more driver problems than anything. I now run 32-Bit Vista Home Premium. 64-Bit was unstable for me. 32-bit works great. So I will wait for 64-bit to not be so buggy for me.

And Coughs what your refering too is the coporate edition that they can install on multiple machines. So I would have to say if you can get Ultimate just go for that. 64-Bit if you don't have alot of Input Devices such as printers, Serial Port things etc.

I have all flavors of vista and I just use home premium. Less overhead then ultimate and ultimate has features I don't need.

You could get the same tires and audio system for both a Ferrari and a Ford Focus. That doesn't mean Focus is as fast as a Ferrari. RK-Mara

That statement made no sense or I should say didin't go to well.

[QUOTE="baddogjmh"]And is artic Silver 5 still the best stuff to get for CPU Thermal Compound?TheDuffman26

It's not the best, but is still very good. Why not just get a Q6600 over the Q9300?

Intel discount is lower for the Q9300 and it uses the yorkfield core.

It will be here by next week. I hear in some things it comes behind the Q6600. So I am going to be getting a nice P35 board. Something from DFI or Gigabye and OC it. What cooler do you suggest?
