@csward: He's probably right that he is still easily countered but it seems the console community in general (not speaking about everyone) is refusing to counter him as a team. If you are going against a team of Tor, then you just counter with a team of Pharah as she destroys the turret in two hits in which they can easily zone or kill Tor.

@b_rich84: To explain it for people who have never used a mouse. PC players can set the DPI on their mouse to something between 400-800 giving them crazy good precision allowing them to track players moving at decent speeds without overshooting them because that is low sensitivity. With a gaming mouse pad you can still with one swipe get instant 180 and full swipe get instant 360. Gamepads can't have both. If you want to instantly turn and react you have to set the sensitivity up high taking away precision. If you want precision you have to set the sensitivity low taking away mobility.

I don't understand why console players are getting defensive. It's just on PC with frame rates with this game constantly being over 100 and mouse players being able to instant 360 degree turns (yes i know the thumb pad but it isn't instant) the turret just isn't as strong. On console you aren't getting instant 360 and that coupled with the turret being as fast as the pad but having perfect aim it is a problem and the stats don't lie.

I know because I play games like BF4 on console and PC with different friends and the reaction time on PC is just faster. The only ones saying it isn't are the ones on game pad who refuse to actually learn keyboard and mouse. This isn't even opinion anymore the keyboard and mouse in the hands of even decent players is superior for precision and reaction.

@dribblesbarbax: Yes I agree. The turret has perfect aim and being on console the very nature of thumb pads make twitch reaction just slow enough to lose to the turrets let alone stack comps. I play on PC but I can only imagine playing against him on consoles...

@wretch1d: I don't play on console but if you check Overwatchstats he has an absurd win rate. Like PC the turret has perfect aim but unlike on PC the game plays much faster and more accuracy so he's not overpowered at all. Consoles are locked into a FPS and thumbsticks making twitch reaction longer. I remember playing beta with Tor with a friend and were discussing how this one character would be problematic on consoles. Turned out true.

@batts86: The Witcher 3 was touted to max out at 30fps. It barely ever reaches it however. It averages out at 24 and drops to 17 during outside bad weather events. Uncharted 4 is 30fps. Games that are capped at 30 fps dip below it. Uncharted should be 60fps as they've now used the same engine for a decade I do believe but the ps4 still struggles to consistently go above 30fps with AAA games. When the console released in 2013 the standard should have been 1080p 60fps. Unfortunately the majority of the games do not accomplish this outside of Indy.

Just goes to show even after a decade of one console they released these too fast based off consumer info. Now that Netflix 4k is popular or becoming more popular Sony should have had better statistics before releasing a console that would need an upgrade 2 years later. I hope people realize that no PS4 upgraded will ever run a AAA game at 4k. It's not happening. This is for streaming purposes and a slight upgrade to some 1080p games where they can squeeze out more than 24fps.

That or the Nintendo NX rumors of it being about 20% more powerful than the ps4 and is 4k ready scared Sony so they jumped on making a new system really fast.
