Alright gang, this is my first play through of Metroid Prime 2 and I'm finally near the end.

But Emperor Ing is dominating me.

1.)I've been using the Annihlator beem to hit his tentacles.

2.)When I finally take his tentacles down, I'm finding it hard to get into a sweet spot to blast his face (the slit inbetween the shield).

3.)Once I get a decent shot, he blasts me with the laser. I tried charging and strafing but I can't get the shot off. Instead of using Super Missiles I settle for little blasts out of my Plasma canon.

Does anyone have any suggestions or strategies? Thanks!

First thing to change is the annihlator beam. considering he's an Ing, charged Light Beam shots will take the tentacles in a hit and a charged light beam to the eye will do considerable damage. Once you see him charge up for a laser shot, just strafe around the whole arena. I wont spoil the rest of the battle for you, but ill be glad to help with the other stages if needed.

personally, i think they mean just finish the game for it to count towards your achievment
