Arrows yes. Buff no. Imagine people with buffed katanas with 50 Vitality and 50 Endurance, you'd use the points spent on Int or Faith on Vitality, it's just impractical. Although I'd like to see a spell to form a flaming bow, kind of like the Skyrim spell.
Yeah, if it spreads then we're pretty much screwed. And using cheap tactics, AKA ganking, is only really justifiable in anywhere that isn't the kiln, Anor Londo, or the Burg. If you're trying to pass through the level, and you get invaded, you have all the right to heal, Bs fish, hitstun, etc. In this case, you were summoned to gank, but I've been there, done that, so no big deal. Me, personally, if I see any phantoms in the forest, the burg, or Dark Londo then I'll use anything to win, like healing myself or pulling mobs.
Those are miracle rings, (Can't remember the name) They boost miracle power when you're around them, although they only show up on Xbox, for the most part.
