I've played a bunch of games that are fun in their own right, but that have some challenges that can be optionally imposed on the player either by the game or by the player themselves. For example, NetHack has a vegetarian conduct where the player can't eat meat. So I thought it might be interesting and fun to add some restrictions to Kirby 64, like only using certain elements, not using any elements, and things like that. I thought it was a lot of fun to challenge myself in that way. I don't know if anyone has already thought of this, or if anyone else even cares, but I hope someone reads this post and enjoys putting this idea to good use. If you do, or if you've already thought of something like this, I'd like to hear about the challenges you set for yourself.
