Looking for a game on PC, maybe 2000-2003... "ish"

- There was 3 Characters you could chose from, Engineer dude with goggles on his head was one of them

- You controlled a floating/flying island & built buildings up on it as you progressed through the stages which helped your floating/flying island become stronger

- Used to have to run around your floating/flying island frantically using cannons to shoot down aircraft trying to attack your floating/flying Island otherwise they would damage it & you would have to repair everything

That's about all I can remember at the moment =/

Unfortunately they were not the one I am after =(

It was a fantasy world, nothing modern about it (no modern weapons etc) may have used an Amulet or Power or something to suck things up, if it helps I believe the final boss was in 3D whilst the level-to-level gameplay was 2D side-scroller

Sorry it's vague

Game that has been on my mind for days now, unfortunately I remember very little, just a few minor detail:

- Platformer,

- Controlled the main character, no others

- Old game, in the 90's I am pretty sure, was when I played it

- Used something to suck enemies up & shoot them out

- Animated style

- I 'think' the main character you controlled had a pointy black hat?

- I remember the final boss battle vaguely. Kind of in a spacial dimension surrounding the boss on rotating rings, the boss was... kind of like a ?Giant Clown? thing.

Apart from that I remember very little ='(

Help me please if you can, it's driving me mental!!
