but how do i update bios? my laptop has really low battery and dont want to waste whats left.
ok, im going to try and download the bios from thier site.
but just a little back ground info on the laptop, i found it at a E-waste site, popped in a new hard drive and had a friend install a OS system xp. so im not sure of the battery age or anything. but dont laptops work with just the cord plugged in normally? but ive been using this laptop for a good 6 months with no problems.
I have a toshibia Sattlie pro, and my battery wont charge. but it still has a charge.
when i plug in my power cord it doesnt recharge and the led light doesnt come on. I have taken the battery out of my laptop and tried turning on my laptop without the battery in (power cord in) and it didnt even turn on, nor did the led light come on.
so since the battery still works, i think its a power cord problem or a problem with the power cord port. I have an other power cord, but im on vacation, are there anyways to trouble shoot or test to see excatly what the problem is?
