What are you people talking about? 1) It's the beta. I'm sure they'll be further polished. 2). It's beautiful. How can you see no difference after seeing the screenshots in this article?

As far as content, what do you expect? It's the conclusion of the story coupled with it's legendary mp tweaked and refined. What more could they do to please you? You can't exactly reinvent it. Gears 2 will basically be Gears 1 with a continued story and refined MP. What do you expect? BTW, Halo >>> Gears. :-p
