The Witcher 3 deserves it just for being so ambitious and unique. That being said, I'm probably going to sink more hours into Fallout 4 than any other game that came out this year.
@Spartan_418: I agree that it's not a Battlefield clone (in some ways I actually wish it was), but it's still a very shallow experience and hardly worth the full price tag.
@Chr0noid: Just because death is a major theme and it's portrayed realistically, doesn't make the show worse. It's actually one of the show's best aspects, that death doesn't come on time.
This is very true, having a home that your responsible for and which you share with your companions really gives you a much greater sense of purpose than in previous Bethesda games. Rather than just wondering aimlessly waiting for something interesting to happen, I actually have a reason to go out and explore. I feel like I'm a part of the world rather than some kind of hero sent by God to help everyone.
@beepbep: You have to turn shadow distance down to low if you want decent performance in the main Boston city area. The medium and high settings are significantly more demanding for some reason.
I've been playing for many hours now on PC and haven't encountered many bugs at all. The occasional vibrating corpse or companion getting stuck but that's about it.
