The biggest franchise on football was made on the sweat of millions of fans that worked up on making one of the best games ever. Since EA acquired the full rights for the Madden franchise there were very little innovations from the company, the changes, rosters and interesting information came from the fans. The reward for those fans from EA was to decide not to publish Madden for the PC. I think it was 2 reasons: 1) The game wasn´t creating anything new the fans were creating the content. This speaks very bad for the company. 2) EA didn´t want to spend more money on the PC franchise because they actually had to make a better game every year not just a cosmetic change and that was a huge criticism from the PC Madden fans. Madden evolve for 19 years, now it seems the time when it will start devolving.
