I played horizon first but couldn't get into it as much as i tried. i chalked it up to open world fatigue. I was given zelda as a gift and fell in love with it. So maybe it wasn't open world fatigue that kept me from loving horizon. I have zero zelda experience and got it on the wii u that belongs to my 6yr old son. Zelda just gets things right when it came to exploration and general fun. my only wish would be co op in zelda. just my 2 cents.

@monoolith: For me Nioh was probably the best of the bunch. It scratched all the itches i had. Diablo style loot, a nice progression system, engaging combat that was fair but schooled you if you made a mistake, and a good story. The surge is good to but i would take nioh first.

@monoolith: I've played through most of the game. I have beat dark souls, bloodbourne, and nioh and enjoy that type of game. This game is similar in a lot of ways with a few new things thrown in. I think it comes down more to whether you like that type of game or not. If you do you will enjoy the challenging combat mechanics and cool progress system. Don't compare it to dark souls and its a really good game.

I have both. they each have their strengths and weaknesses. The good thing about the xbox1 is the backwards compatibility which will be nice since you said you have a 360. Xbox live is a overall better online experience than PS plus. One thing i would advice whether you get a ps4 or box one is get the one with the 1TB hard drive or plan to buy one. That being said i use my ps4 for singleplayer games and xbox1 for multiplayer since thats where my online friends are. you cant go wrong either way.

I have played both and they are each great in there own ways. If you have played fallout 3 or new vegas then fallout will feel familiar and be enjoyable as long as you liked the others. If you wanna do awesome quests in a beautiful world then I would lean toward witcher. Do you like guns or swords? would you be interested in the settlement building in fallout or the card game gwent in witcher? Seriously you cant lose picking either.

my son is 5 and loves the disney infinity games and figures. its fun for him to play with them in a game but he also mixes them in with his legos and minecraft toys.
