I personally have no sympathy for them. They take your brand new game for $20 and resell it for $55, the developer and the publisher get nothing from it. Gamestop is doing developers a disservice and they deserve their cut and by blocking used games they get more money for development with people buying new copies. If they are even smarter they will say oh used game, we'll let you play it on your system for a $40 fee and force their cut. Gamestop hoses you anyway.

Gamestop is saying that simply because if the consoles go no used games then Gamestop goes out of business because it can no longer rob the developers of their cut but take a used game and selling it for $55 and reaping all the money.
