Blah! I'm not trying to point fingers at anyone but that's what I've been seeing for the past couple of pages. No point in saying "don't play scores" because that'll kill the fun out of SW! :P

Realistically, just play the game for yourself! The most important critique is your own, really. Both games have made a grand impression on the industry, and the way I see it, that's a clear success for both ND and Epic.

I think it'll score a 9.0 here. Congrats to ND for the great reception. Can't wait for November 1st!

I think I was guessing this to maybe be an 8.5-9.0 game before. Now I'm calling 9.5. This actually feels like a movie, if it were impossible for me to play it for whatever reason, I could actually see myself watching someone else play it from start to finish.

Without spoiling much, you can see Rockstar's influence on the interface. The pacing and gameplay, however, appear to be far more cinematic and interactive, respectively, than other Rockstar games (indeed, it is developed by Team Bondi, but I'm assuming that Rockstar had a heavy influence on the game.) Visually, it seems to carry out the film noire theme well, with low-key lighting setting the mood. The music will have a subtle affect on the gameplay, I'll just leave it at that.
