No it's not too hard. There is enough variety to keep you interested in grinding. It took me in the original around 20 hours to beat the game. This one should be abouut the same.
FF13 sux because they will have to tone it down for the crummy LOLbox. That system is holding back our games, that's the only reason it sux. It does have way more games.
