Well, I'm 26 and I am married with two children. My daughter just turned two years old and my son is three months old. I just arrived at my new home for the next three years: Seattle, WA. My wife is from here and we absolutely love this part of the country. I'm in the U.S. Navy and will be deploying soon for most of the rest of this year (this is why the Union has a temporary new leader). I am an obsessive LEGO addict (Star Wars and Harry Potter sets mostly) who loves to make vignettes, avid golfer and I still spend way too much time playing video games.
Congratulations, Barmy. You personified everything I expected and wanted in an Officer of this Union. You'll do a wonderful job, I'm sure.
There were a lot of good applications this time around. I hope no one is discouraged. All of the applicants are contributors to the success of this Union and we are thankful to have you all onboard.
The enemy guide was put together by Burning Dragon. It is going through a bit of editing right now. It's not nearly as complete as I'd hoped. (Due to a lack of enemies.) It will be posted as soon as it's finished. I'd rather not do it when it's not complete.
I hope everyone understands it's not really a matter of "winning." Link2025 was simply the member that we felt would be able to give the most back to the community. That's what this is all about. These guys are just the ones that keep everything moving. They're no better or more important to the community than every single one of our members. I don't think anyone can say they love Zelda more than someone else. We all love it. :)

Congratulations and a big welcome to Link2025, the Legend of Zelda Union's newest Officer. Link2025 was chosen from a pool of very good applications and all of the Officers and I are confident he will be a fine addition to the staff of the Union. I realize this application is a late but I was only able to sign up for the union today. There is a level 3 requirement on joining unions so I joined as soon as I could. Thanks!

Why do you want to be an Officer? I am applying to become an officer because I have a strong interest in The Legend of Zelda games. I have enjoyed playing The Legend of Zelda games, and while I can't say that I've played every single Zelda game released, I have spent my share of time playing the ones I listed above. I also see the strong commitment made by the officers and leader of this union. There is a strong community here and I would love to contribute to it.

What unique skill/specialty can you bring to the Legend of Zelda Union as an Officer? I don't know if I have anything unique to offer to the union, but I believe that I can offer a positive atitude, dedication and the ocassional joke (or atleast I'll think its funny.)
How much time do you spend online posting on message boards each week (estimate)? Well, lets put it this way, I've been been a Gamespot member for 3 days and I have spent 482 minutes online, viewing over 2100 threads.
What is your favorite Legend of Zelda game and why? My favorite Legend of Zelda game all time is Ocarina of Time. I believe that Ocarina of Time contained the usual outstanding Zelda gameplay, but was enhanced by the 64-bit capabilities of the Nintendo 64. I truly felt like I had control of the character. My favorite title thus far, hands down.
What are your other major hobbies/obsessions/fandoms? I enjoy spending time outdoors (camping, hiking, etc), participating in sports, and I have a new found appreciation for reading.
