This week my PC has bluescreened 2 times not even when it was under load. The last time it happened I was just only on facebook with mabye 1 or 2 other things open. The temps seem fine I even have a custom cooler for my CPU and my GPU idles at 30 degrees Celsius. I also have 4 decently sized case fans so I really don't think it's a temperature issue.

Specs:

CPU: i5 4670k 4.2GHz

Motherboard: ASUS Z87 PLUS

GPU: 7770 OC

RAM: 8 GB 1600 MHz

PSU: 750 WATT Corsair TX750v2

Storage: Intel 120GB SSD + one 500GB HDD

It's been stuck here for a while now. Should I turn my pc off? Or will that mess up my OS? What can I do?

I overclocked my new i5 4670k to 4.0 ghz through the bios. After I did this I saved and restarted. When the computer is loading windows it says disk drive read error press Ctrl alt del to restart. I tried putting everything in my bios to default but that didn't do anything. What do I need to do to load the OS again?

Motherboard: http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX45853 (ASUS Z87 PLUS)

RAM: http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX36931 (Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 @ 1600 MHz)

CPU: http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX45429 (i5 4670k @ 3.4 GHz and 6MB Cache)

I'm picking up some new parts soon for a much needed upgrade and I need to know if these parts will work together. Also, I'm powering it with a 750w PSU.

I'm either getting a Zalman z11 Plus or a Cooler Master Haf XM. I can't decide between the two because I like the look of the zalman case much better but I also like how the haf xm has better cooling.

Looking for a new mobo and cpu. I decided on the i5 3570k which comes bundled with 2 motherboards at the store i'm buying from. Please don't tell me to get other boards because I have decided on these two. So far I am thinking that the gigabyte ga-z77x-udh5 is the best pick.

1Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H

2.Asus P8Z77-V LE PLUS
