@computernoises: Well considering Kinect is one of the only reasons I'm still keeping one of Microsoft's peasant boxes sitting around instead of just throwing the piece of crap up on eBay, I'd say a lot of people said "why?!"

This company seems utterly determined to turn the Xbox One into a useless brick. Killing off all the exclusive Kinect software and putting all their exclusives on Windows 10 -- what is the point of owning one of these things now?

The Xbox platform actually had a use before Microsoft decided to only focus solely on the Calladooty dudebro crowd and ignore everybody else.

@Archangel3371: It comforts me to know that hoarders don't like my platform of choice.

@zerofrust: People who aren't idiots. You can quite often get physical copies considerably cheaper than buying digital.

@derekscorp: I don't trust anyone who thinks that chromatic aberration, motion blur, film grain, and depth of field looks good -- which seeing as how most games these days have at least some of that crap in them, that would be most designers and developers who are untrustworthy.

@GarGx1: This is no longer relevant because the game is now an excellent performing PC release. The only thing it is missing at this point is SLI support, which isn't *that* big of a deal because if you dedicate your second GPU to PhysX it boosts framerates by up to 25% anyway so it's almost like having SLI.

The game has better optimization and more graphical settings options than most PC releases get these days, with everything from chromatic aberration to motion blur you can disable right there in the game's menu -- most PC games require mods, .ini tweaks, etc. to disable that crap. The console peasants will never be able to disable those crappy effects, they are stuck with them the entire time. It has a benchmark tool, it doesn't crash, and it provides over 40 hours of gameplay at a dirt cheap price -- I don't know what else you could want.

Unless you're posting from the past, Batman: Arkham Knight as of January 2016 is an excellent PC game that strongly outperforms its console counterparts in every conceivable manner. I didn't mind not playing the game for a few months while they fixed it up because it was so cheap on its release it already cost less than most PC games do at this point in their lifespan and we aren't exactly starved for games to play on this platform, I have 500+ games across my Uplay/Origin/Steam backlog that need to be gotten around to.

@colbster: I haven't ran anti-virus software on my PCs in over a decade, because I'm not an idiot and I actually know how to use a computer without picking up as many viruses as a $5 hooker.

I'll take my 4K TV over your garbage low-resolution projector any day. Any time you brag about your console gaming being cheaper, you are reinforcing why we call you guys peasants, lol. Yeah, better quality stuff costs more money, who'd have thought? It's like bragging that you heated up a bowl of macaroni last night and somehow that was a better experience than the guy who went out to a restaurant for a nice steak dinner. Whatever you say.

@GarGx1: Gullible fools? The only gullible fools are the ones who think the console peasant version of this game is better... I have 45 hours clocked on my copy of the game on the PC, the story, all of its side missions, and story DLC beaten at 4K with all settings maxed out, including with our exclusive NVIDIA PhysX effects on the PC. It runs great for me on my GTX 980 Ti. And I paid less than $30 for the full game with the complete season pass while the console peasants shelled out $100 for their 1080p, PhysX-less 30 FPS version with its season pass. I'd say PC gamers are the clear winners here.

@Mirimon78: I don't get it. The only things I hear the "xbots" say about the controller are how great it is that you can use an open battery standard like AA for your rechargeable battery instead of having to use Sony's built-in proprietary rechargeable battery with a far lower capacity than rechargeable AAs have. Are there still people who use non-rechargeable AAs for any device these days?? Literally why.

@kenpachi212: >being this butthurt over PC gamers having endless possibilities to customize their gameplay experience

The console peasants always get angry when they see PC gamers frolicking around doing wacky stuff in their games because they signed up to be confined to a strait jacket when they decided to buy a peasant box.

@xenomorphalien: Today, I learned that people who enjoy playing video games on their personal computers are the equivalent of members of one of the most genocidal regimes in human history *and* are also as deadly as a disease that kills over 8 million humans annually. Thank you, GameSpot.
