[QUOTE="Yours_is_green"]So is it true that your dsi ware games do not transfer to the XL? Do you really have to rebuy them if you want to play them? :SRichardWrite
If you bought another regular DSi, they would not transfer.....if you bought a DS Lite, they would not transfer, and if you bought a PSP, they would not transfer. So yes, just as with any other hand-held you can buy, they will not transfer.

Hey, thanks for the needlessly sarcastic answer. Pretty lame; you'd think at this point Nintendo would be trying to encourage people to upgrade their DS again especially with the 3DS a year or so away.

FFIV is a good choice. If you want another Castlevania game, I recommend Dawn of Sorrow, even though Portrait of Ruin is pretty good too. Or, if you can hunt down a copy of Circle of the Moon or Aria of Sorrow on the GBA, these are must-have games.

Anything Atlus has released on the DS is a safe buy too, if you're into hardcore RPG's with lots of grinding. Etrian Odyssey is really cool. I also recommend both Trauma Center games, especially the 2nd one.

And of course, there's the whole Square-Enix DS library, but these can be pricey, they generally retail for ten bucks more than the average DS game. If you're willing to spend that kind of money, then you can buy The World Ends With You in a heartbeat. Also, FF3 is like twenty bucks, which is a steal considering the amount of RPG goodness packed in it.

Thanks for that. I ended up getting world ends with you, FFiv and dawn of sorrow. Enjoying them alot :D

Hello everyone,

Looking to buy some games today as I have alot of out of town work (by work I mean sitting in my truck watching people work lol) comming up. My Fav DS games (I've played quite a few) are: GTA:CW, picross, Zelda, Castlevania OoE, andAdvance wars. Just looking for any suggestions; I've been thinking about Final Fantasy IV and another castlevania game (which one is as good as OoE?) and a couple others (maybe jagged alliance if I can find it). One thing to consider is that I'm a bit of an older gamer (25 years old). Any suggestions are welcome and thanks in advance.

I really want a FFVI remake for the DS. Never got to play the original and I've heard nothing but awesome things about it.

yokofox33
could always try the version they made for gameboy advance. It really is a game everyone should play at least 5 times in their life :D

[QUOTE="SoNin360"]Great game but after 15 hours of play finishing the story, having a good amount of money, about half of the cams destroyed, most jumps completed etc. I don't think there's much left to do... There may be some side missions I need to do but i don't feel like running around destroying cams and looking for those last jumps and that last house... Maybe I'll find something but nonetheless my experience with this game has been amazing. never had this much fun in a GTA game since San Andreas. I don't see why anyone wouldn't consider it a "true" GTA game... maybe just because it's not on a console... but w\e.meiaman
Because of the graphics. Casual GTA players (AKA kids with 10 years or less) only care about the graphics.

This makes no sense to me. GTA I and II had the same view (ie topdown) and they started the series. On topic- Yes, it's a great game...one of the best and most addictive I own for the DS.

Sorry, I've been out of the loop and looked through a few pages but didn't see an answer to my question.

Initially when i heard about the DSi i heard rumblings that there 'might' be a way to transfer the games you download from the wii store virtual console and get them onto the DSi. Confirm/ Deny?

Thanks in advance

[QUOTE="Yours_is_green"][QUOTE="Gxgear"]

P2P is superior to dedicated servers? Okay.

Why do lemmings even bother bringing the PSN into this. You say XBL > PSN but there's no dedicated servers. Then you argue there is more features with XBL but the silver account offers that too for free. This just doesn't end well for you.

Gxgear

I've had terribad experiences with psn at my place. x box live works like a charm. BUt you're right it is pretty wicked that we get more features and they are free :D

I've had "terribad" experiences too with XBL at my friend's place, but you're right I'm going to take your word and ONLY your word for it and declare PSN obsolete.

/sarcasm off

So you like paying for free features I see. Well, whatever floats your boat I guess.

cool story bro. have fun with DA KILLZONEZ
