i think people are pretty bumped for RDR and i WAS too, in the beginning of the year
but now that it's getting pretty close to the release date, for some reason, i have become little skeptical

i recently looked up Rockstar San Diego and they've made Red Dead Revolver, Table Tennis, and some of the Midnight Clubs
now, i have nothing against those games, they are pretty good and fun (haven't played table tennis) but nothing spectacular
certainly not in the same league as Rockstar North, the guys that have made the groundbreaking Grand Theft Auto III and up

plus, add to that, the 6 year development hell that is Red Dead Redemption has had one hell of a bumpy ride during it's creation

i see all game sites praising this game but i dont see much video content for me to give the same praise,
which leads me to believe, it's just the usual hype machine at work

Amazon has a great deal...$20 credit w/ pre-order of RDR
i wanna jump on this but something just seems too good to be true

am i crazy? are some you skeptical as well? if not, help me clear my doubts

help me decide before it's released!

most ps3 exclusives are imo the best games on this gen but i believe Lil Big Planet is going to remembered for a long long time

i think it's my favorite game of this gen

this is coming from someone who is obessed with the MGS series

i thought god of war 3 was pretty epic and i really enjoyed it
i thought it was right in line with 1 and 2 and i loved the improvement in the combat (disappointed most reviews didn't think so)
but it wasn't the absolute stunner that was uncharted 2 among theives (my opinion of course)

one thing is for sure, i'm dying for the GOW3 engine to be used again!!!

i was thinking this would be prefect for a truly awesome HULK game
i know the chances of this happening is slim but i can always dream

what do you want to see Santa Monica do next with this godly engine?

i have episode one and i beat it and enjoyed a lot of what it had to offer
but i never got episode two
last summer i saw episode three at fyi for $5 so i had to pick it up

my question is: would you guys recommend me playing it or is it highly recommended to play episode two first?

both are great way to spent $20

if you haven't experienced bioshock i say go with that

but experience both for sure

like many of you, i've gotten the RROD and had to get it repaired (twice)
but live is awesome ,the library is quite strong and i've had a great time
not to mention it's nice having the better multi-platform titles (usually)

however, ps2 (in my opinion) is the best console ever so i had to get a ps3 when
the price was reasonable

i got the 80gb with killzone 2 and metal gear solid 4 last summer for $400
and built a library of exculsives from that
and as a gamer, the experience is different but just as fun
blu-ray is also worth mentioning 'cause who doesn't like movies

i really think haters are missing out

there are some amazing single player experience to be had on the ps3

as gamers, i really don't think we have anything to lose but money but
aren't we gonna spend it on more games anyway?
