I've seen quite a few people complain about Cyberpunk 2077's depiction of the cyberpunk art style, but I don't think those people realize that CP2077 is based off of a pre-existing IP with it's own take on cyberpunk, which the trailer totally nailed. I mentioned this on another forum, but it's like watching a trailer for The Witcher and labelling it a poor man's Elder Scrolls because it doesn't look like Game of Thrones.
Besides, I'm sure it'll still have that neo-noir style people were hoping for during night time.
Her sexual orientation was already touched upon in Left Behind, and Naughty Dog fought to put her on the cover when Sony was against it, claiming people don't buy games with females on the cover, so I'd say this is far from pandering.
Mods here are pretty cool, except Verbtex. He tried touching me once.
The worst part of ResetEra for me though, is how fucking negative they are. If it's an online game focusing on social interaction, those stereotypical basement dwellers condemn it to Hell.
I've hated every Dontnod game so far, but I was cautiously optimistic for this one. Unfortunately, everything I've seen hasn't impressed me too much, but I forgot to cancel my pre order and Best Buy shipped it early so it'll be here Monday.
Might hold on to my copy and wait to see what people think of the story before deciding whether to return or open it.
