"Only 13 percent of the respondents said they were likely to buy the Wii U, compared to 36 percent who were on board for the next-generation Xbox, and 34 percent who believed they would pick up Sony's next PlayStation console." Okay, so Gamespot issued a poll asking individuals to pick between three consoles, two of which are not announced and one of which we know very little about--and then they publish the results on the front page and tout it around as some huge, super-serious survey? Honestly, the most shocking thing about those figures is that 36+34+13=83, meaning 17% of the users on this site aren't planning on buying a next generation system at all. Or maybe they're just smart enough to wait for, you know, more information.
@Bzilla56 Whoa, whoa, whoa. Launchpad won because he is the archetypal sidekick of not only the gaming world, but all forms of comradery. He is a true man. A man's man. A man's duck. Hell, he's even a duck's man's duck of a man. Launchpad McQuack is not only a hero and champion of the world, but he is also a champion of hearts. He won over the hearts of billions with his expert flight skills and ability to readily follow his friends into battle. Without Launchpad, there would be no "Luigi" or "Otacon" or "Tails." Simply put, Launchpad McQuack is the greatest sidekick of all time. Not because of some internetical site called "Red-IT," but because he is the duck everyone aspires to be.
Let's see, an entirely new game that has been 5 years in the making or the missing content from a generic "OMGEXPLOSIONSANDGUNS" shooter released in 2009?
