That number will decrease becausee the gap between the 720 and PS4 wont make it as easy to port those next gen titles over to the Wii U. The only reason the Wii U is getting those ports right now is because the Wii U is exactly the same in terms of hardware with the 360 and PS3.

Almost nobdy is buying ME3 for the Wii U or AC3.

The number cannot decrease since a system cannot lose games, it can only gain them. The specifications of the Xbox 720 and Sony Playstation 4 Computer Entertainmet System are unknown at this time so assumptions cannot be made about their power. Nevertheless, Nintendo has always focused on the games and entertainment value that the gamers can have with the console, not the power inside the console.

Nintendo used to care about cutting edge graphics until they couldnt afford it anymore. This wasnt a decision they had any control over and just decided to do it because they care about gamers. They just became REALLY cheap and realized their consumer base will shell out for Mario Wii U even if it has terrible graphics. Why spend money when your consumer base has really low standards?

PS4 and 720 will be significantly more powerful than the Wii U.

Actually, current sales have shown---you know what? **** this, trolling you people is like watching paint dry. You hear that? LIKE WATCHING PAINT DRY. I QUIT. Nintendo can go get another freaking representative.

What?

There isnt a single launch game on the Wii U that compels me to own a Wii U or makes me believe the Wii U will do anything unique or worth my time.

Fizzman

Fans have expressed great interest in New Super Mario Bros U and Nintendo Land, but Nintendo does offer a nice mix of games from non-Nintendo franchises such as Mass Effect 3, Assassin's Creed 3, and ZombiU. This is a very impressive lineup that will only increase in the coming years, especially with the addition of an exciting new HD Zelda game and the always-charming Rayman Legends. Of course there is full backwards compatibility with the Wii for fans who want to revisit the many fantastic Wii games Nintendo has made throughout the years.

All the systems displayed above are quality systems, no doubt, but in my opinion the Wii U has the brightest future of them all. It's a newly released console with a very appealing lineup of games that will only increase in the coming years.

Nintendo is working hard to bring many quality franchises on to the Wii U, but Nintendo's customers have shown time and time again that they are satisfied with Nintendo's current lineup of high quality games. With the second greatest launch in gaming history, the Wii U looks to have a very bright future in the gaming industry, and Nintendo definitely has many things they're working on to ensure that fans get what they're expecting off of a Nintendo console: a quality Nintendo experience.

I am definitely enjoying my Wii U purchase, Nintendo's kept me satisfied throughout my life with classic franchises that really have impacted everyone's childhood in a very big way. Nintendo aims to keep providing these franchises to their fans and maybe even create new memories for newcomers to gaming. It really is this connection between gamers that creates a very enjoyable living room experience that you really can't get anywhere else.

I only wish I was cool enough to get a 3DS for Christmas

Ly_the_Fairy

The Nintendo 3DS is a system for all gamers alike, "cool" is a very lamen term that Nintendo likes to avoid since it often makes customers feel unappreciated or discriminated. The 3DS really is an all-around system that is meant to be played purely by the gamer, they choose their experience with the system. Nintendo urges you to enjoy the christmas holidays with family and friends, perhaps a Wii U would be a more suitable option to establish a more competitive connection in the living room?

The Nintendo Wii U is a very next generation system in terms of entertainment, through integration of various technologies and the innovative controller, developers are given enormous variety in what they can accomplish with the Wii U. This is the sort of next generation creativity that Nintendo aims to push forward as we go into the coming years.

I'm sure Infinity Ward will release another quality product in the Call of Duty franchise that will undoubtably be on Nintendo's Wii U system. It really is the big holiday gift that people of all ages look forward to, and Nintendo is glad to provide the rich entertainment that customers demand off of a next generation system.

Both of those games are very high quality and will definitely provide some very memorable experiences for traditional gamers. I'm sure they would both also find good footing on Nintendo's Wii U. Hopefully both experiences will carry over the Wii U.
