Yes true, but what you need to understand is that the people that review these games are the kind of people who love these games. It's not like they get some guy who hates RPG games, and ask him to play LoZ and rate it. Just like for NBA 07, they get some people who like Basketball games and have them rate the game.

I think that sites like gamespot, IGN should leave the reviews to the fans. A genre is such a big word. A guy who loves Tekken is not capable of deciding if the latest KOF game is good or not. If I want to know if the latest game in a series hold up or not, I turn to the fan-base. Only then can you get an in detail overlook what has been improved and what has not. They're fans too u know, just professionally. And they save us from bad games like Big Riggs: Over the Road Racing, thank god i didn't have to play that game to know that it sucked.
i dont really agree with u at all. k lets say that a game gets a ten. Naturally u would assume that it is perfect and that there is nothing wrong. If maybe the grapics could have been a little better, then it should get like a 9.9, or 9.8. Thats y GS has a scoring system in which gameplay and tilt matter more than gameplay, graphics, sound, and value. They know what matters most in a game, but they also know that other factors are importanat too. maybe KOF would have been better if the graphics were better or something else, but it does not even deserve a 10 in gamplay, so stop whining about games that u think are good, because i know ur entitled to ur own oppinions, but just becuase someone likes a game less than u doesn't mean they're stupid.
