The first mine was a joystick that came with ZX Spectrums. Photos still can be found over the web.

When I was searching for Gothic 3 addons, I found some games reviews and read about tools like Borderless Gaming and Reshade and their usage with games. Unless I've got 45-50fps, after enabling around ten of ReShade filters, I did not expect that Gothic 3 graphics can be improved so significantly, closer to Witcher 2, if not even 3. I did not know previously, that shaders can "add" polygons to ingame meshes, objects, and NPCs to look more detailed. Not sure if I will replay Morrowind, but I've installed Overhaul and tuned it up to almost max detail/visibility range. And the game, along with ReShade, downed fps on my Radeon R9 370 to pitiful 35-40 fps.:)

For me, it is TES IV: Oblivion. I'm now playing it again with Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul.

Digger and Loderunner on ZX Spectrum extended. 16 colors, games were loaded from an audio tape recorder.:) My first gameplay lasted around 10 hours non-stop. Then, during my sleep, I saw those nasty little men running all over.

I'm recommending "Lands of Lore: The Throne of Chaos" now to my relative, after he finished "Deus Ex 4" and "Witcher 3". :) Somehow he missed it at years of Wolfenstein and Doom 1. :)

When it comes to money, CPU and RAM significance fade away. Truth is that Radeon 3850 probably outshines Radeon R7 for quite amount of games. Just be assured that older times extreme video card meets requirements of your particular game(s).

With closing of TryGames company I lost several games, although I paid additionally for lifetime digital storage for some of them. Probably term "lifetime" here meant lifetime of company, not mine. ))
