@shagrath1987 It seems PS+ is not for you. It's ok, it's not for everyone. People who bash PS+ because the games are not free forever, do they think Sony or the game makers themselves will happily give the games for such a low amount of money? And if the games were yours forever people would just buy 1 month and download the games and cancel PS+. That's not good business, this way (games are yours until PS+ runs out) we get more and better games.
@DamnILoveGames I think the discounts are forever. So if you buy a game/DLC with PS+ discount, it's yours to keep forever. So if you have a game (which you've bought) and you buy DLC for it with PS+ discount, even after your PS+ expires, you will be able to play the DLC.
@DamnILoveGames Hmm I think it was said that you can access PS Store without PS+. So I'd think demos and DLC are accessible without PS+ :) Only online gaming (multiplayer, co-op) will require PS+ (and some F2P titles wont require it)
@jtthegame316 @VillNess @eva02langley Well the games known now for this Microsoft Plus are pretty old so no surprise you can keep them forever. The games PS+ gives you are from different genres and some are older and some are brand new (day1 free for ps+) and it's 3 PS3 games and 2 PS Vita games per month (not sure how it will change once PS4 games come to PS+, maybe 2 PS3, 1 PS4 and 2 Vita?) and it's still cheaper than Gold Live.
There are good reasons why the games are "free" and not forever yours, business is business. If the games were free forever the amount (and age) would be like 1 game per month and 2+ years old...
@Tielo1 @VillNess @slainta As DriveClub is confirmed PS+ Edition, we can predict more games will be like it. Smaller games (indies, PSN only titles) might be all full games but bigger games (released on Blu-Ray) could be PS+ Editions.
For indie developer PS+ might be a good way to get some name for themselves and get more buyers for their next game :)
