its not dead but it did take a hit. also I think if you buy the game used, you have to buy a online code for online use.

I play gta 4 and have the dlc and will tell you this. dlc (G tony) is ok for free rome, but if you want to play a rank game you will need to play just GTA 4. and the best modes are racing game types.

I would love to see a mmorpg come to the xbox 360, but I dont think it would work.

Xbox live cost $60 a year. if the mmorpg was a game like ff or wow you would half to buy the game, $60 and then pay for the monthly fee witch is usual $15 a month.

I liked the gameplay idea of bulletstorm. killing with flavor, but it was not a buy on day one for me, maybe just a rental. with gears 3 beta coming out its now a must buy.

the only game that tyred this was Shadowrun. but due to the fact of an mouse and keybord vs a gamepad cross platform could not work. the pros of halo 2 had a hard time keeping up with people on a pc.

Both are good games, but I would go with Red Dead Redemption. Its the best original game I have played in something. In a era 3, 4, 7s its good to see something fresh.

happy that Double Fine is making a new game, also I think making it a Xbox arcade game and not a full blown $60 is better for DF

Less popular games are still active (Unreal Tournament 3 for example) so I'd imagine the community for L4D2 at least would still be pretty lively. There are an incredibe amount of dbags who play L4D online though. It's probably the worst online experience I've ever had in terms of absolute idiots, and I play a lot of Halo.
If you can pick these games up for a decent price then definitely do it, but maybe try and play with people you know because trust me, you'll have more fun.
