OK the shorter the better and remember when has a clerk know anything. cable needs to be short and no folds or bends. but the only-way you can tell is by the tv unless your running DLP 1080 or a new brava / Mitsubishi wd-52327 sony or samsung. 720p any hdmi but to eliminate ghosting and to have that picture you want its gotta be big brand sort cable. Two best after testing all the TVs my self at the burbank frys and my place of work were i get to order the TVs is the mitsubishi 52 (wd-52327)" DLP projection and the you would never even guess the Dell 1920*1200 24inch at 1080i . both have zero ghosting and both use hdmi ps3 with a monster hdmi female to DVI Male. Believe what you want but the shorter the better and use the fiber audio or component audio. separates the audio from the video cpu.

Lack of 720p on the mitsubishi sucks but the 1080 still bets the 1080 from the one that do support it.

That is what i have learned and I'm satisfied.

Any findings that you have made which work better I want to know and if its true I will try.

peace out and use a ps3/psp/pc blue-tooth it and wifi it fun to do when at work lol

Great posts good read. To get strait to the point I play PC and consoles(PS2 PS3 Xbox). I'm good with both FPS useing a controller or a Keyboard / mouse. I have been playing and supporting the UnReal Tornament Community  sence 1999. I have several servers up for UT2004 and Plan to get servers set up for UT2007. I would love both PS3 and PC users to play on my servers. Lots of people lots of fun.

Now I have Resistance and Call of Duty3. I just beat Resistance on medium and hard. It was a fun and great challange to use a joystick I really enjoyed it very much. Now the reason (I think) that they don't support Keyboard/Mouse for Those FPSs that are coming out is that the game is not difficult enough to handle the  Keyboard/Mouse.  I think if I used a Keyboard/Mouse set up on Resistance it would of been too easy and I would of beaten it in  a couple of hours on hard.
Now Online MultiPlayer it would be great for Keyboard/Mouse set up. I think if a fps is difficult to play and takes crazy skills like UT or Quake to play then the Keyboard/Mouse is a must. Companys won't put out a First Person Shooter with Keyboard/Mouse support unless it can handle the game play. So I beleave its the companys that wont do it for some of the reasons I mentioned.

Epic would NEVER release UT2007 with out Keyboard/Mouse support.

Now I have played with a gamepad for my left and mouse for my right that is a good way too. Many people do this.
As in UnReal Championship on PS2 you could use a gamepad and mouse or keyboard and mouse or just the games pad. It will most likely have this same support for all of them.

I can't wait for UT2007 for the PS3 I will have a server up and modding a zark for it and more. Useing the PC to set up a server so PS3 players can enjoy what PC players have been for yaers.

[QUOTE="whoisryanmack"]im not sure about thatbigpimp14152004
Im most certain 99.99% sure about that. I dont feel like searching for proof but ask any reasonable person. Component can output 1080p.

Nope only HDMI can do 1080p or HDMI to Component adapter can produce 1080p. Look it up its true.

like when i select the 480p resolution outta the display settings and hit ok it changes the resolution on the media bar. Then i go into the blu-ray movie and see how it looks. After that I went back to the display settings changed it to 1080i and hit ok... the screen definetly changed resolution because all the words were smaller than what the 480p was. So I go back to the same blu-ray movie and the image looks the same?????????? im so confused???bigpimp14152004

Hmm if your game is 720p (says on the back of the game) it will auto to 480p if your TV doesn't support 720p. Thats what mine does. It has to be 1080p 0r 1080i to do 1080i. If thats doesn't help you then I need more info abou your TV or games you have to be sure.

Mine goes to 1080i. Its a 52" Mistubishi DLP 480i/480p/1080i. I wish it did 720p but I am happy with it so far.

UnReal-4-Life

What model?

Model # is WD-52327

This TV supports 52" 720p Native resolution.   You probably have a better picture playing Resistance Fall of Man than 90% of the people on this site on the PS3.

DLP Projection TV Specifications Screen Size 52" diagonal Screen Aspect 16:9 Native Resolution 1280 x 720 Displayable Colors 16.77 million colors TV Scan Lines 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i

Sorry that is wrong. It supports 480i/480p/1080i and the res is 1920 x 1080i res. Thats what the manual says and that is what my computer says when i hook up to it.

Also that is the 2006 model mine is the 2005 model.
