Roller Coaster Tycoon? Chris Sawyer did all of the programming and game design. Some of the art assets were developed by another, but I would assume that's true for a number on this list.
Unreal 3 Engine games ran fine on last generation hardware. In fact 8800 series cards run U3 games well. I don't know why they'd need to have a performance guide for this game, it's the same engine as Bioshock 1. These guides used to make sense when new games required new hardware, but that hasn't been the case in a while.
It's articles like this that give people the wrong impression about PC games. I have a 9600 GSO, and got it for $50 after rebate. I can play every game in existence at 1920x1200 (Crysis runs at low). Most people don't run at that high of a resolution
Obviously Galaxy looks better, but it's sad that it doesn't look a lot better. Is Galaxy using a brand new engine or is it just a modification of the previous one?
The best value right now depends on your monitor. If you can run games at 1600x1200 you'll want the extra memory of the 8800 GTS 640 MB, but otherwise the 8800 GTS 320 MB is fine.
