@Barighm: I was referring to any of the precision weapons outside of sniper class weapons. I assumed that was that the OP was talking about when they said they unloaded a clip into someone's head and they didn't die. If you did that with a sniper rifle they'd die in one shot so it's safe to assume OP was talking about other weapons which is why I called out things like the BR and Pistol.
@Barighm: It's a battlepass that doesn't expire and in the future you can buy previous seasons' battlepasses. That's a step forward for me. You can just play the game instead of grinding the battlepass out on a timer. I got a few levels playing yesterday so it doesn't seem as grindy as people are making it out to be.
@gamedude187: Headshots don't matter until you break their shields. Aim for body shots until the shield breaks, then precision weapons can one shot to the head. Precision weapons include the Battle Rifle, Sidekick Pistol, etc.
Also be aware that automatic weapons have spread. If you go full auto you're less accurate at range (likely fine up close though).

I'm probably going to avoid Gamespot until they get it sorted out, as it's super sketchy.

@cf_Kage @Double-Ego @Sam_021 Same, there is still a ways to go and things may look more uncanny before they hit the target. Although, I'd wager some of that is due to budget constraints, as this is simply a tech demo.
They can make both ourselves and developers ooo and ahhh over this as much as they like, but there isn't anything for us to purchase so we can experience that in-game today, so it doesn't offer the best ROI.
We'll have to wait several years before anything comes of it.
