I'm sorry, but the Ace Combat I knew and loved is dead. I turned the demo off when My F-22 did a back flip while going 700mph as quickly as a hyper kid on a trampoline.

(Keep in mind I'm an avid ace combat fan and played all of them on expert so I don't like my flying games easy)

Here is how my experience went: When the game made me do the first "dog fight" mode I figured I'd just not touch the controller and it would take me out of this superfluous fly by wire action crap, NOPE I was wrong. the semi scripted scene of me chasing an enemy between buildings completed without me doing a damn thing, and the enemy crashed into a billboard. I let that go thinking it was just trying to show me that "hey this a feature you can use" and continued playing.

When it told me to do the dog fight mode again it didn't force me this time so I continued playing like a BOSS! (Maverick), but my missiles and machine gun did NO damage to the enemy. I hit that "LEAD" plane LITERALLY 15 times with missiles (Yes I counted) and it was trailing smoke and everything, but it would not take damage until I turned on the hand holding dog fight mode, funny thing is I pushed the buttons to activate it right before I was going to have a head on collision with the enemy and My plane (at about 650mph) did a 180 U-turn on a feakin DIME and there I was again in that lame fly by wire mode... PURE GARBAGE

I don't know what you all are talking about it had no advertising. It had obnoxious advertising (The ENTIRE face of the Omni Hotel in San Diego) during the comic con before it came out at least. It did have advertising it just looked mediocre from the get go.
