When they generalize the release, that means it will be delayed. (Fall 08 means here comes another beta, wait until next year)

EDIT: I agree with qman101 as well.

Looking at your spelling. I would hate to see you type anything more than just one sentence.

Shut up, you stupid fanboy. I was showing some character in my writing. I have an IQ of 131. Besides, why the hell would someone need intelligence to rate a video game?

Weak attack, jacka**.

EDIT: I just realized we agree on the game. So, do you make a habbit of attacking those who agree with you? You're a democrat, right?

P.S. I'm NOT a republican. There are other parties, you know. I'm a Proud Libertarian.

as far as I know, there hasnt been a game that has 1080p. Games that I have which says 1080p on the box are GTA4, COD4, Ninja Gaiden, MGS4, Lair, and Virtua Fighter 5. which are not 1080p, it is rendered at a resolution of 720p or below and UPSCALE to 1080p which doesnt make the picture any better, just so Sony could say that ps3 has 1080p games.

I know u guys probably dont care how the graphics looks just how good the games are. but the fact that Sony is lying to us pisses me off.

I also want to play 1080p games to see what it looks like. because 720p looks damn good.

Im not saying games dont look good right now. I am saying Sony is not backing up what they said. which henceforth makes them liers

Go to settings, turn on RBG full range, and shut up.

Oh yeah, and turn on "super white". THEN shut up. :D

I personally enjoyed GTAIV very much. The problem I have is that many review sites to include Gamespot gave it a 10. It does not deserve a 10 when there are flaws in the game mechanics. They are small but exist. They should have gave it a 9.0+ but not a Perfect 10.

One example is the camera controls when using Auto Aim. Just try to shoot a Flying Rat when near other people and you can't control where your aiming.

Another example. In tight areas the cover system goes crazy and you jump from wall to wall while sticking to them while the enemy is shooting you.

Another example. The driving is too loose. Yes with time you get the hang of it and if you use the handbrake in conjunction with the regular brake, you can wip around corners like a Pro, but the control was difficult to grasp at first and many players won't have the coordination to accomplish what I just described.

With these minor flaws, the game is still great and I would recommend it to anyone wihout question, but it just does not live up to the Perfect 10 score.

Annoying things are just opinions and I won't base anything I am saying here on this. YES, I hate the dating aspect of the game. It interupts the game play and flow. Especially when you get stupid calls from your friends to go hang out with them. I belive they could have accomplished the benefits of having good friendships some other way. One could have been a series of missions that you can choose to play thorugh or not, but the reward would be the friend perks you recieve when dating. This could have easily replaced the dating all together.

The other thing that I miss is the variety found in SA. No Jetpack, Parachutes, Planes to fligh and the number of vehicles could have been much better. Nothing better than completing a mission where you need to hop a plane, jump off at a given zone and then parachute your way to the roof of a building to infiltrate. Kill someone and then base jump to the street.

Again, I really think GTAIV is great. It's just not Perfect as the score suggest.

[QUOTE="lil_zelda_dude"]definitely but we can only hope thats its not terribly laggy. However if these games have monthly payments involved i may be a little put off.SollidSnake_

Yeah, I have no intentions to pay monthly for them. If I get a game for $60 and a system for $400, just no. I wouldn't mind paying more on the game, but not monthly.

Just face it, if you want a good MMORPG with a balanced system and fine tweaking as the game evolves through new content you will have to cough up the monthly fee to pay for it.

If you want a out of the can online experience that will be the same 2 years in as when it was just released then say no to monthly fees
The moment you buy theyr game they already have all your money so they only invest minimal effort to keep people playing wich leads to them charging money for extra content if one ****turns out to be grossly overpowered in multiplayer than thats just tough as nobody is getting payed to solve it.

This is why free MMO's like maple story and can never get anywhere close to the membership ones as the everquest and wow

nope m8, guildwars is probably the second best MMORPG (maybe the third to WOW and lineage2) and it has no online fees. so: PHAIL.

That's true in many cases. Fees aren't ALWAYS necessary for success.

People pay for WoW because the enjoy it. They can do the same for DC Universe.

They'll lose a lot of potenial customers if they do. I sure as hell wouldn't buy.

Steal the neighbors wireless. :D

Just kidding, the connection would suck.

The USB addaptor might work. Probably not.

Wii101

I wouldn't be stealing the Neighbours wireless as it belongs to me.

Neighbors is the way it's usually spelled in America.

However, both spellings are considered acceptable.

It would kick ass to have MMORPGs on the Ps3. For so long mmorpgs have been sooo linear(except a few) and I have really wanted one that can give me a truely diverse playing experience that doesn't require me to either grind for 122 hours a week or complete linear quest. With the expansion of mmo's to a console like Ps3, you can get a really great and "OMGWTF CAN THEY DO THAT" moment from a mmorpg without worrying about your PC running it. Imagine the amount of features that could be brought with an mmo. On a simple scale, imagine Elder Scrolls 4:Oblivion as an MMORPG with everything the same, only minor changes to make it suitable for thousands of players. That is just on a small scale of what could happen on an MMORPG for a next gen console. So it would be a challenege, but hell, it would kick ass like hell.

I couldn't have said it any better. :)

it acually isnt, but what i am waiting for is MAG! StealthKnife

"What" isn't "what"?

MAG will be fun but a little disorganized and there is plenty of lag potential.

I still plan on getting MAG anyway.
