I'll have to say Oblivion.

While I was expecting an RPG from Fable II, when I started I felt incredibly...closed in. What little exploration therewas in the game is killed by the annoying loading times and all the way through I constantly felt like I had to stick to a path despite it being labled an RPG.

Oblivion on the other hand is huge. A massive world to explore and it feels like it truly is your choice to go where and when you want.

Sorry if people disagree with my Fable II opinions, just my thoughts on it:P

Yeah FF X-2 was a load of crap. FFX was so enjoyable, I remember playing the demo when it came with FFVI and couldn't wait for the whole game to be released and it didn't dissapoint. Then then they made FFX-2 which wasa stupid tie in and...how can it be FF 10-2? It makes no sense.

I agree. I could care less about an EPIC story in FPS shooter designed with intense gameplay in mind. You can't have it all.

I'm fine with people saying its generic... people are entitled to their own opinion... but please don't throw in games like Crysis, GeoW, Halo 3, and COD into the mix as an argument. These games are a matter of opinion as well. At the very least... choose HL2 and Bioshock as good examples.

One thing I'd like to point out was GeoW2's story was effing horrible!!!! But that's just opinion.

Yeah what you say is true. HL2 and Bioshock truly are FPS with great storys and great worlds to immerse yourself in.

Lol and yeah, GeOW 2 story was god awful! Something like this...Link

I thought Gears's story was slightly (EXTREMELY slightly) better, just because some of the dialogue was funny, and it just seemed much more surreal.

Yeah I agree with you there mate. GeOW2 atleast had some decent characters that were fun to listen to. KZ2 had...Rico *sigh*

I do enjoy a good few hours on a FPS but its sad when a developer releases a new FPS and they've spent years making it and in the end its a fun game but its like all the other FPS's on the market and you think that developer could of spent that time creating something, well, different?

Lol. I can't believe this guy praised KZ2 for its story. Seriously, KZ2 is fun to shoot people, its looks good to do and it is enjoyable. I would never, ever get a game like KZ2 and expect an 'epic story'.

Oh man there is so many...but for me...

Entering Hyrule Field in Legend of Zelda OoT

Getting MGS2 at its release for my birthday and playing it all weekend

Stealing my firstcar in GTAIII

and of course...getting the BFG in Doom II for the first time. Ah, memories.

Oh and thought I'd add one more. Getting Wind Waker with my friend on its release. That night we stayed at his, set up two GameCubes and two TV's and played our copies for four days straight.

Argubly yes. They have released ALOT of games on many different platforms most of which have been enjoyable to play.
