Bear in mind that orange box has two old games making up a large chunk of it - Half-Life 2 and Half - Life 2 : episode one. Mass effect looks like a great RPG (of which there are few on the xbox). It'll last you ages as well. Orange box has 5 games in 1 box - very good value and if you like multiplayer it has Team Fortress 2 which is brilliant.
playing GC games online is possible but its hugely impractical - i never bothered. with four controller ports as standard on the console i never felt the need to play mario kart online
thousands of other people to play withis just what animal crossing needs. you could build communities with your friends and if you get enough people, turn the place into a city
