Without order:

  • Hotline Miami 1-2
  • Ori and the Blind Forest
  • The Swapper
  • The Witness
  • Guacamelee

Mostly big names, not sure if they are all indies 😅.

I really like first person puzzle games (Antichamber, the Room games etc). There are also many games I couldn't mention. To the Moon for example was a fine little indie game.

I watched the trailer from SoP. I have no idea what the hook is supposed to be 🤷🏻‍♂️. Why play this game over any of the other similar ones? What’s the cool standout feature?

Annoying, but a lot of companies are doing this. I have lost track of all the pointless launchers I have installed...

@Sushiglutton: my B.... Didn't realize it was pacific time.

No worries, time zones are the worst. I must have a count down to get it pretty much 😅

Service games they can keep…

Why would you feel enticed to play sequels on Ps5 when they release them too on PC?

Arkham combat was/is awesome if you play for high score. Long combos, mixing as many different moves as possible and setting up high score finishers. It’s not that great if you just want to ”win” (finish a level) with minimum effort. Then you can use really simple tactics.

I don’t think any other studio has done the system nearly as good.

Which makes it a total misrepresentation of what Batman is. Screw Rocksteady and WB.

But a game is also supposed to be a game! I think the combat system is brilliant. Those who just want to go through the story can breeze through the encounters and still get some cool looking combat (it looks way better than in the Nolan movies. Looks like snyder was inspired by it for BvsS).

But there is a learning curve if you want it to look extra cool and feel extra smooth.

Speaking of bots, I tested your description on ChatGPT and it suggested Age of War

Loading Video...

Then it said

If this doesn't match the game you're thinking of, there are a few other similar games from around that time that you might consider, such as "Stick War" or "Epic War." However, "Age of War" seems like the closest match to your description. You might be able to find it on websites that host old flash games or on modern sites that have preserved these classics.
