Heck no, I'm excited too. Sonic Colors and Generations were the best Sonic games in years and it looks like they've got the hedgehog back into the light. I'm looking forward to both the first Wii U Sonic game and the new exclusivity deal with Nintendo.

I've really been interested in this new magazine, but $20 is a lot for an issue, even if it is really nice.

Basically any game with Mario is fun for anyone, regardless of gender or age, so give those games a try (Especially the Mario Galaxy games). I would also HIGHLY suggest you give The Legend of Zelda games a try, as they are incredibly good and I know plenty of girls that like that series as well as guys.

No achievements please. Developers should spend their time on improving their games in other areas. Achievements are stupid.

Tonindo

lol

You think achievements are hard to make?

No, and that's part of the problem. Because it's so easy and cheap to make, achievements have replaced the far superior system of in-game unlockables.

You should blame DLC for the lack of in-game unlockables these days, not achievements.

^ Topic question

I haven't figured out a way to switch the screen to widescreen on VC games on either the TV or the GamePad screen.  Is there a way and I just haven't found it or can you just not do it?

No. The only parts that ever get me stuck in OoT when I play it are the Forest Temple and the Water Temple. Outside of those, it's not a difficult game as far as knowing what to do next.

[QUOTE="Haziqonfire"]It's going to be 30 cents from May 15th, 2013 - June 13th, 2013. After that it'll be regularly priced.

Thank you, good sir.

Will it be 30 cents like was originally planned (when Nintendo planned to launch the Virtual Console in July instead of April) or will it be the full $8 price?  I'm asking because if it's going to be full price, I'd like to get the Wii version free from Club Nintendo by tomorrow and be able to upgrade for only $1 instead of paying $8.  But if it's going to only be 30 cents, I'd like to not waste my Club Nintendo coins.  Anyone know?

I'm probably gonna catch a lot of flak for this, but I actually really liked Resident Evil 5's DLC missions (Lost in Nightmares and Desperate Escape). They were only $5 each, and even though they were only about an hour long they were really fun to play through. They included co-op, leaderboards, and trophies/achievements. The one time I think Capcom actually did DLC right.

I like the blue one currently, but I'm really hoping Nintendo releases a silver/platinum one in the U.S. and hopefully there will be a dark purple and green in the near future too. I'd like plenty of cool choices when I eventually upgrade to an XL.
