You can always buy a controller pad of any kind at radioshack, and hook it up to your computer.

I have every single Zelda but Windwaker on a ROM. The only games I have on a ROM legally are OoT, MM, LttP, and Link's Awakening DS. I finally got the master file in OoT (again) and I'm working on MM again... The only reason I have those games on the computer is because my cat pissed on my N64 and SNES. So technically, it isn't illegal for me to play those. I downloaded Zelda2 to see what was all the fuss about it being impossible to beat. I have the two OoS/OoA games on ROM because I already went through two gameboy colors. The first GB was stolen when I left it in my lunchbox at school a few years ago. The other GB became a battery drainer, and only lasted like 1 hour on full new batteries. And my Platinum GBA's screen got smashed for no reason, and there was nothing but a black smudge of crystal gel. So I am not going to buy another GBA just to play Minish Cap. And the original Zelda, I got... I don't know if it is illegal or not... but I got it on the ZeldaQuest program. The guy used a system to create oldschool zelda dungeons, and he created three versions of the orignal zelda. One with the original graphics, another with updated graphics (similar to the remake of it on SNES, Zelda BS), and another with even better graphics. And I don't count the CD-i games.

I like the ROMs because you can record the gameplay and show it to anyone online. Or take good quality screenshots from the games. The only downside with the ROMs is aiming with no joystick on the N64 games. To get good accuracy, you have to pause the game and move down a slider named "joystick range" to around 45%. Other than that, it's basically the same. At first it feels weird, and you have trouble fighting even Deku Babas. But after a day or two, it becomes second nature and very comfortable.

And yes, the graphics are better on a ROM to my knowledge. For SNES, get a Zsnes and go to graphics. Set the resolution higher, and mess with the options to smooth out the blockyness of the sprirtes. And you can also change the sound quality to make it sound better as well. The default way it is set, sucks...yes. But when you set it to the way you want, it is perfect. For the NES emulator I got, I personally think the graphics are the same. I mean heck, I had a 19 inch screen TV I used to play my N64 on in my room. And my monitor is also 19 inches... sooo... it looks the same to my knowledge. I just had to turn the resolution up from 640xwhatever.

Great jobs on the sigs guys, I wish mine was more creative but yeah...

Is it me or did all the tags just turn into little red X's in a box, or just not appear at all?

Hopefully it's just me.
