Thereis one thing I can't do. And that's get a system for one game only. hell my old xbox library hit around 55 and my GC and PS2 weren't too far behind being in the high 30's each. I play every genere without much discremenation as long as the quality has been put into it. And because of the variety of games is the reason why I own a 360 and a Wii.

tttttank.......gamespot just proved 3 times now that the visuals in the ps3 are more blurry compared to the 360 and quoted: "Games on the PS3 do tend to be blurrier than their Xbox 360 counterparts, but the PlayStation 3 games can look just as good as the Xbox 360 games when developers put some effort into it, as is evident with both Grand Theft Auto IV and Burnout Paradise. Overall, the PlayStation 3 outputs visuals that are either on par with the Xbox 360 or only slightly behind."

Honestly though. I'm a hardcore gamer and I have almost every console dating back to my atari 2600 when I was 4. Every console has their advantages and their crop of games to go with it. We've come a long ways sinces the days of the 8 bit generation. The current gen is heading into its 3rd year now and even now that the PS3 is over a year and a half old, we have yet to see the library of games promised to us. I've been standing by waiting for that surge of great things to come and it still hasn't happened. As it stands now there really isn't a definite reason to own a PS3 looking at its titles alone. That can be seen in the reviews on gamespot itself. Not saying that the system is a total disaster, I'm just saying that until more top tier games like MGS4 see the light of day (And when are we ever going to see FFXIII by the way) the Xbox 360 is undoubtedly superior in the so called "console wars" red rings and all. (And for the record did the sony fan boys just forget the fact that most of the first PS3s were proned to freezing up completely for no reason......thought I'd point that one out.) I'm still on the fence about purchasing a PS3 next month because I can't really be sure that one great game is going to be worth the admission price. I actually still get a fair amount of playtime outta the Wii. Which has sold to date twice as many consoles as the PS3 and a couple million more than the 360 and even Nintendo is marred by a lack of a great huge library. Though they make the most out of their qualilty first party games. Just thought I'd put it out there......

I'll once again support Sony when it can get back on track with what real gamers want from a console. And that's quality games. Its cool you have a **** load of usb ports and expandable memory that doesn't help less load times. Its nice to have a blu-ray player on board and a controller that'll weigh 10 lbs by the time they're done adding "new features" Sony needs to step away from all the gimmicks and get back to making quality games. I could care less if the damn thing played movies or Mp3s. That's what we have IPODs/portable mp3 players and DVD/Blu ray players for. They already lost DMC4 and damn near lost MGS4 and I think that's befcause they lost sight of what a gaming console really is about.

you gotta admit Sony has done nothing but feed off of most of the good ideas from other companies. Hell they just added rumble back to the controllers.....they added "triggers" to the L2 and R2 buttons, the did take the guide button from the 360 and they even are trying to add the full motion controls that are found in the Wii's remote.
