I feel your pain, lol. The G3 is on the verge of being dead to me now. I've had an itchy trigger finger since playing Virtua Cop on the Sega Saturn, lol.
Is there anywhere to find a list of what updates have fixed/changed what items for Call of Duty 4? I know the most recent one cut firing rate on all the single-shot fire weapons, but I'm curious what previous iterations have done. Sometimes it's hard to tell, lol. I googled it and came up with nothing.
Booted up Oblivion, since I hadn't touched it in awhile. When I go to load my game, the game gives me a message that 'some files the game relies on are missing.' I can see that they're right there in my drive. Tried re-downloading everything, and no success. I've had problems with some other files, like themes, ever since rebooting on a new XBox after getting a RROD. I'm using a secondary account from the 'main' one on my 360, but that's never been an issue before, and shouldn't matter anyway. It's like this account just won't read what's on the rest of the HD. The central account that I have my gold Live on still works and loads everything just fine. Any suggestions, or am I just screwed?
Is there any truth behind the 'fact' that the skins for the consoles cause overheating issues? Because I've had one before (before I got the RROD and had to toss it), and it had spots for air ventilation o.O But the NG2 skin I was going to get has a 'review,' and I use the term loosely, that says it caused the system to overheat. So, does it happen, or is it bee-S?
LOL, yeah. It's bad enough the game is already one big car commercial for the brand that was sponsoring Ubisoft (can't remember what the name of the co. is; i'm not a car guy ^_^;;). And their own product placement. But it's becoming a trend. And if it gets them more money so they can keep making more games like Assassin's Creed and whatnot, I can live with a few little things like that.
