@Empiro Unfortunately, that is just how people react in these circumstances. Its the "Mob mentality" It happens everywhere. Not just the internet. There isn't really any way to combat it either.
@Zidaneski That is exactly why people are complaining. Too many casuals who cannot complete a game. When games first came out, we played them to beat them. We played games to feel like we accomplished something. If we couldn't beat a boss? We played til we figured out the strategy well enough that we could finally do it. And you know what? It felt GREAT when we finally did. The problem with newer gamers is that they are just like the newer generation. They want everything NOW. Pathetic.
@Coco_pierrot First of all. Learn english. Second of all, you are in support for this and you call COD a mindless game? What is the point of a game if you skip the GAMEplay? Why not just watch a movie? You want to just skip to the end of everything? The point of a GAME is to PLAY through it... Not to WATCH through it.
@wellrod COD's average user base age is 5-12? Come on. You can't seriously believe your own BS. You may not like the game as much as the next person, but you just seem that much more ignorant and less educated with a comment like that.
Also, the only reason why these games are popular are because they are on Facebook, which is the most popular and used social network on the web. Farmville, Mafia Wars, and whatever the other garbage is called, would be nothing if Facebook didn't push it. We won't see an influx to facebook app games, it just won't happen. And we won't see social games bring released in retail stores. The reason why they are popular in the first place is because they are free to play right off the bat.
