The 360 has been out for almost 3 years, vs the PS3 only being out for almost 2 years. An extra year does make a difference, but anyone with a brain will remember that most devs start development on 360 first (cuz of it's higher install base) and port the process over to the PS3 and you can't do that if you want the PS3 to look great or equally as good as the 360 version.
