"But I can complain. And I will. Because, unfortunately, for many others out there this only serves to remind us of that sad six-year period where everyone was so desperate for a superhero movie that didn't make them embarrassed to be comic book fan that they doublethinked themselves into believing that trilogy was good. It wasn't."
Because the Andrew Garfield films were better? Get the f@ck out of here with this sh!t article.
I'm excited to play Ryse as I never got around to picking it up. Darksiders was an awesome game, and Assassin's Creed revelations was pretty solid. It's just a shame I already have them, but I can't complain as this month's GwG setup is much better than PS Plus's free game lineup.
1. It's easier and quicker to simply plug a External HDD in as needed.
2. This also makes it easier to transfer downloaded games and games saves between XBOX's if you upgrade to a new model (ex. from an OG X1 to a X1S or Scorpio).
3. You do not have to take away storage to add more, ex. taking a 500gb hd out and replacing it with a 2TB. You can add the 2TB to the existing 500gb, resulting in more storage.
4. You can have multiple External HDD's plugged in at one time, again increasing your amount of storage.
5. Since each month you essentially get 4 free games from XBOX Live Gold (2 - X1 games and 2 - X360 games) storage gets filled up quickly. I know as I have my internal 500GB HDD full, Plus a 1TB external HDD full and another 4TB external about 25% full.
"It’s worth mentioning that you can swap out the storage drives on the PlayStation 4 consoles, which is something Xbox One systems currently can’t do."
It's also worth noting that you can plug an external hard drive into the X1 and use it for storage. Which is something that cannot be done on the PS4 last time I checked.
I still have my original XBOX I bought in 2003. Ofcourse I have Halo 1 and 2, Forza, Fable, Kotor 1 and 2, all the THPS, Doom 3, half-life 2, Ninja Gaiden, and so many more. I wish the original XBOX had a little more time to shine before being replaced, but the XBOX360 was a good successor, even with the RROD.
@Terminator95: The PS2 had backwards compatibility with PS1 games and an established name in the video game console industry, Microsoft had neither of those things.
