Some of these sure. But who could ever forget Johnny Bravo? I can still hear the "Hya" (Yes I don't know how to spell that sound) in my head. That show was legendary.
Makes me wonder, will this be similar to Resistance at all? Resistance was fun as hell, really enjoyed both the narrative and gameplay of it. If they make it have more freedom than even that then I am very much interested. The only thing that kind of sketches me out is it is prior to John Connor's resistance. That pretty much means no plasma weapons, no T-800+, and not as much horror (Maybe). We'll see though.
That's too bad. These two are my favorites out of both franchises. GTA IV may have received a fair amount of backlash due to features such as vehicle handling and weapon handling, but quite honestly I really enjoyed that. The characters really appealed to me too. I actually felt sympathy toward Niko and some of the other characters unlike the characters in the other games (Some were fun of course, but I couldn't care less if they lived or died).
Need to see more shown before I'm completely sold. If it lives up to how they speak about it and their goals then hell yea I'm down for it. GW is really pushing for some quality games with 40K as of the last few years. Seems they are trying to bring 40K back into more mainstream avenues after DoW III.
40K really deserves more popularity in the mainstream, but like was mentioned it is just such a hard one to get into unless you follow some youtubers like Majorkill, Vaults of Terra, and Arch Warhammer (Before he went batshit political asshole), etc and find a good starting book (The Horus Heresy being one of the easiest) it is daunting. They just need to allow "If the Emperor Had Text To Speech" to continue, make it official (Let Alfa Busa retain control), and stick it on a streaming platform (Or at least promote it). That series itself brought in a lot of fans.
I know every director wants to be creative and make something they did shine apart from the rest, but please take some of the Legends EU and earlier canon EU as some inspiration. Not all is great from those two, but many really did add to the universe with some interesting parts out of it. Even Dark Empire contributed to it despite it also being a resurrection of Palpatine (Not that it was great either). Some more non-Jedi/Sith focused stuff maybe?
