So I am following this guide: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/939425-final-fantasy-iv/65252132 because I am playing the iOS version and I want to max stats and to give the only limit break to Kain. But I am also trying to follow this guide: http://www.gamefaqs.com/ds/939425-final-fantasy-iv/faqs/51274?page=5#section352 I am on the first playthrough and I just got Curse. I followed the second guide up to Curse. Now the first guide says to give it to Edge, the second one says to give it to Palom. So basically I want to know what the consequences of giving Curse to Edge instead of Palom and how that will affect me following the second guide.
